Making a kite at Te manu Tukutuku

In Whakarua we are learning to make a kite.First we made a triangle frame out of wooden sticks. Then we covered our frame with clear plastic. We used lots of sticky tape.Next we drew a koru design on our kites and coloured them in with permanent markers.Lastly we made a tail for our kites and hung them on the wall in our learning space. I liked making the triangle frame with the sticks the best.  My kite looks cool.
