Being Responsible with Chromebooks

In Cybersmart I have been learning about Being responsible with Chromebooks.First we put our Prior knowledge or a Padlet Then we budded up and created a (Poster or infographic) about being responsible with Chromebook.

I found it hard typing the words. I found thinking the ideas.

 

Making a kite at Te manu Tukutuku

In Whakarua we are learning to make a kite.First we made a triangle frame out of wooden sticks.Then we covered our frame with clear plastic.We used lots of sticky tape.Next we drew a koru design on our kites and coloured them in with permanent markers.Lastly we made a tail for our kites and hung them on the wall in our learning space. I liked making the triangle frame with the sticks the best.  My kite looks cool.

This week I have been learning to measure the perimeter of shapes.

Today we learnt how to do some things on goggle sheets.  With the help of my buddy John I made this minecraft skin. 

Measure Me

The last 2 weeks I have been learning to measure things in centimetres and millimeters. I have learnt when measuring I need to start at the 0 on the ruler and check that I am using the correct side of the ruler depending if Iḿ measuring cmś or mmś.  Miss Hunter helped me measure myself. You can see on my picture above how much all my body parts measure.
